Tangy nuts

 

Get your tang on with these slightly spicy, tart roasted nuts. Use whatever nuts and seeds you have to hand.

 

1 egg white

Zest 1 lime

1-2 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder, depending how hot you like it

2 tsp brown rice syrup or honey

500g nuts and seeds

 

1 Beat the egg white and fold in the remaining ingredients, plus a little salt and black pepper.

2 Spread out on a lined baking tray and roast at 200°C for about ten minutes (give them a shake halfway through)

3 Sprinkle with 2 tsp lime juice and let cool. Break up and store in an airtight jar for anytime tangy snacking.
